The Washington Commanders will start Carson Wentz at quarterback against the Cleveland Browns, the team announced Wednesday.
Wentz returned to the field Sunday when he replaced the benched Taylor Heinicke during a loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Wentz had last played Oct. 13, when he broke his right ring finger in a win over the Chicago Bears.
He played the final two series in a 37-20 defeat that dropped the Commanders to 7-7-1. They remain in the seventh and final playoff spot.
